2011: Started in all nine games at long snapper and also on the field goal and PAT unit...didn’t have a botched snap all year...also had a special teams tackle against Holmes.

High School: Played for head coach Anthony Hart at Lafayette HS...helped lead the Commodores to a perfect 16-0 season and Class 4A State Championship his senior season...Lafayette also posted a 14-2 mark his junior year and were state runners-up.

Personal: Son of W.L. and Patricia Hyland...has an older brother, Alan (25), who played football at Northeast...his niece, Amanda McGrath plays soccer for Baylor and his nephew, Ryan McGrath plays soccer for Vanderbilt...majoring in business...born June 15, 1993.
