High School: Played for coach Chris Cutcliffe at Oxford...helped the Chargers to a 14-1 record and the MHSAA Class 6A state championship as a senior...tallied 41 tackles, 10 hurries, 7.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks and a touchdown during his senior season...selected second team all-state and first team All-Region 1-6A by the Mississippi Association of Coaches...second team selection to WCBI All-End Zone...also chosen as a Northeast Mississippi Football Coaches Association All-Star selection for the North squad...also participated in powerlifting while at Oxford.
