2021: ...off the field, named to the Fall 2020 Vice President's List.

2020: Saw action in nine of the Rangers' 15 contests during a COVID-19 shortened season...hit .286 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs...finished 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in an 8-2 victory against Wallace State-Hanceville on February 25...fielded .973 with 64 putouts and seven assists on 73 total chances...caught three runners stealing...received numerous academic accolades off the field, including Distinguished MACJC All-Academic, NJCAA All-Academic First Team and several selections to the President's List at Northwest.

High School: Played for coach Jeff Munier at Collierville…the Commercial Appeal’s 2019 All-Metro 1^st Team catcher hit .378 with two home runs and 26 runs batted in for the Dragons…helped lead his team to a 35-4-1 record, a TSSAA District 15AAA championship, and a Region 8AAA championship in his senior season…selected to the Tennessee Baseball Report All-Region team and the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Class AAA All-State team…was a Tennessee Player of the Year nominee.

Personal: Son of John and Michelle Leatherwood…has three siblings, Hayden (22), Cade (17), and Miley (9)…brother, Hayden, plays baseball for Ole Miss…received recruiting interest from Middle Tennessee State, University of Memphis, Austin Peay, and Belmont…enjoys hunting in his free time…college major is undecided…nickname is “Tyreeese”…born August 1, 2000.
