2017: Appeared in 11 games on the mound in relief as a freshman...was 3-0 with a 3.60 ERA in 11.2 innings of work...struck out 13 batters against five walks...allowed no earned runs in eight of his 11 appearances...delivered a season-high three strikeouts (twice) against Mississippi Delta and Holmes.

High School: Played for head coach Chris McMinn at Magnolia Heights...a five-time MAIS AAA Division II State Champion...went 6-1 on the mound his senior year with 75 strikeouts against 22 walks in 56 innings...hit .375 with 10 doubles and 34 RBIs...First Team North AAAA All-Conference his senior year and a second team selection as a junior...MAIS All-Tournament Team...competed in Perfect Game's High School Challenge, pitching six innings and allowing one unearned run while batting over .700 in five games...played summer ball for Dulins Dodgers...also played football for the Chiefs, helping the team to a pair of state runner-up finishes...2016 MAIS All-Star Game selection.
