2014: Played in 24 games as a true freshman, seeing time at second base, shortstop, right field and as the designated hitter...earned 14 starts...hit .395 (third on the team) with two doubles, seven RBIs and 20 runs scored...his .491 on-base percentage ranked second on the team...stole 15-of-15 bases…had a career-best three hits and three RBIs vs Copiah-Lincoln on April 23...fielded .977 in 43 chances with just one error...had three multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game...ended the year on a career-best six-game hit streak...added four sacrifice hits...Rangers were 7-2 in his nine starts in the infield.

High School: Played for head coach David Lara at Hernando...5A State Runners-Up and north division runners-up during his career...named MVP of the DeSoto County High School vs West Tennessee High School All-Star Game...a Pepsi All-Metro selection and All-MAC selection...hit .406 his senior year with 19 extra-base hits and 12 stolen bases and struck out just twice.

Personal: Son of Robert and Tina Chick...has an older brother, Alex (24), who played baseball at EMCC from 2009-11...enjoys fishing, hunting and physical fitness in his free time...studying health and physical education...born December 24, 1994.
