2023 [Freshman]: Made 15 appearances on the mound, earning his only start against Coahoma on April 4...recorded a pair of saves against Bevill State (February 5) and Jackson State (Tenn.) (February 15)...sported a record of 1-2, including a win at Holmes on March 29...reached his season-high of four strikeouts twice - March 11 at Southwest Mississippi and April 18 at East Mississippi...off the field, received First Team NJCAA All-Academic recognition, while also being named to the President's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.

High School: Played for coach Duke Williams at Evangelical Christian School...helped the Eagles to a 25-12 overall record last season...as a senior, batted .340 at the plate, while throwing 53 strikeouts in 33 innings on the mound...also finished with a 2.12 ERA...three-time all-district selection...part of two state semifinal teams at ECS...off the field, finished with a 3.7 GPA...received interest from Murray State, Lipscomb and a handful of MACCC programs.

Personal: Son of Terri and Rob Shropshire...has one sibling, Ella...grandparents, Harvey Shropshire and NaDean Freudenberg, are both in the Tennessee Coaches Hall of Fame...enjoys playing basketball, watching Georgia football and watching Memphis basketball in his free time...studying business...nickname is “Shrop”...born March 5, 2003.
