High School: Played for Steven Chambliss and Kevin Dunigan at Independence…showered with accolades during his career, being named a two-time all-state selection, two-time team MVP, All-Tate county, four-time all-district player and golden glove award winner…2014 D.M. Howie Mississippi High School All-Star Baseball North Team...hit .419 his senior year with three doubles, one triple and one home run...hit .424 his junior year with a .542 slugging percentage and .514 on-base percentage.
