2013 [FRESHMAN]:
MACJC Second Team All-State...MACJC Player of the Week (May 7)...played and started in 48 of 49 games at shortstop...hit .296 with two doubles, four home runs, 20 RBIs and 27 runs scored...had a career-best three hits (four times)...went 2-for-5 with a career-high 4 RBIs vs Jones County in the state playoffs...first career home run came on April 13 at Northeast...hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th to beat East Mississippi (G1) on April 23...had a season-long five-game hitting streak...had 13 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games...reached base in 11 consecutive games during the year...5-for-5 in stolen bases...fielded .936 in 172 chances...added five sacrifice hits, walked 12 times and was hit twice.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for head coach Josh Dowdy at Bruce...led the Trojans to a 23-9 mark and 2A State Championship his senior season while hitting .462 from the plate with 14 doubles, three triples and a home run...also went 9-3 with a 1.34 ERA on the mound...a four-time all-district selection and two-time all-state nod...named the Crossroads All-Star Game MVP...2A NEMCABB Player of the Year...teammates with current Ranger Chase Clark.

Son of Tommy and Angie King...his dad also played baseball at Northwest...has two siblings, Leanna (24) and Bryant (16)...enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time...majoring in general college...born April 4, 1994.
