2019 (Freshman): Made 17 relief appearances, earning a 1-1 record and a 5.74 ERA...tied Colton Peel with a team-best four saves...struck out 24 batters against seven walks...off the field, an Academic All-MACJC selection.

High School: Played for head coach Doug Shanks at Central Hinds Academy...helped the Cougars to a 29-8 record, 14-0 division record and to a runner-up finish in the MAIS Class AAA State Championship as a junior...received several all-district accolades, including district MVP...MAIS All-Star selection...compiled a 36-8 overall record on the mound through high school career...made 15 mound appearances as a junior, finishing 9-3 with a 1.72 ERA and two saves...off the field, a member of the National Honor Society...recruited by several other MACJC programs.

Personal: Son of Ray and Bridget Smith...one of four siblings...enjoys hunting in his spare time...studying biology...nickname is "Chomp"...born February 6, 2000.
