2024 [Freshman]: Helped Northwest to a 37-17 overall record and the first round of the NJCAA Region 23 playoffs last season...played in 33 games, drawing 19 starts...finished with 16 hits on the season, including 10 RBIs...also made 13 appearances on the mound, including one career start...struck out 12 batters against 10 walks in 28.0 innings pitched...compiled a 5.46 ERA and notched his only career save in an April 24 road win at Itawamba...pitched a career-best seven innings in an April 19 win against Mississippi Gulf Coast...off the field, a member of the President’s List for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters, while also being named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice.

High School: Played for coach Chris McMinn at Magnolia Heights...helped the Chiefs to a 40-3 overall record and the MAIS Class 5A State Championship last season...was part of multiple state championship teams at MHS...as a senior, batted .374 with nine doubles, three triples and four home runs...earned All-MAIS Class 5A honors...off the field, named Valedictorian and President of the school's National Honor Society...also a member of the student council.

Personal: Son of Carman and Jason Jenkins...has three siblings: Molly (22), Houston (15) and Maggie (14)...studying biology...nickname is “Boogie”...born July 13, 2004.
