High School: Played for head coach Phillip Roebling at Theodore...helped the Bobcats to an 18-10 overall record, the Area 1-6A title and the second round of the AHSAA Class 6A Playoffs during his senior season...totaled 973 points during his junior and senior seasons...as a senior, averaged 18.4 points, six rebounds and 1.7 assists per game...received numerous accolades and awards, including Mobile Optimist Club Class 6A Player of the Year, Area 1-6A MVP and All-Tournament Team selection...also chosen First Team Laginappie All-Area, Second Team Coastal Alabama All-Region by the Mobile Press-Register and Honorable Mention All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association...also chosen for Florida vs. Alabama March Madness All-Star recognition...as a junior, received Area 1-6A All-Tournament Team and First Team Laginappie All-Area honors...off the court, a member of the school’s National Honor Society...received recruiting interest from Austin Peay, Barry University, Wallace State-Selma and Lurleen B.
