Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2020: Played in all 15 contests for Northwest in a COVID-19 shortened season...hit .341 with three doubles, a home run and 11 RBIs...also finished 5-for-5 on stolen base attempts...batted 2-for-2 in a pair of wins against Olive-Harvey College and Columbia State, combining for a double, a home run and five RBIs...posted a .929 fielding percentage with 12 putouts on 14 total chances...also spent time on the mound in relief, striking out six batters in 4.1 innings of work and four appearances...posted a 2.08 ERA in relief.

2019: Played in 44 games during the 2019 season, starting in all but one...became one of the top hitters on the team with a .281 batting average, four doubles, three triples, 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and a .562 slugging percentage...best hitting performance came in a win against Southwest Mississippi on March 30, where he went 3-for-5 with two triples and two RBIs...reached base 86 times, the highest among returning players...stole four bases on four attempts...fielded .963 with 72 putouts on 82 chances...developed a role as a relief pitcher, making seven relief appearances while striking out 11 batters on nine walks with a 3.38 ERA...faced 26 batters, holding the opposition to a .192 batting average...collected his only pitching win in a 9-7 victory against Copiah-Lincoln on March 23.

High School: Played for head coach Derek Thompson at Mooreville...listed as an outfielder/pitcher...2018 Region 1-3A Player of the Year...hit .420 with seven doubles, seven homers and 20 RBIs as a senior...was also 5-2 with a 1.73 ERA on the mound, striking out 58 against 16 walks...broke the school record with an 18-strikeout game against Caledonia...2018 DM Howie MS High School All-Star...named one of The Clarion-Ledger's Top 20 underclassmen...as a junior, guided the Troopers to a 28-9 record and Class 3A state championship...had a team-best .421 batting average, nine doubles, two triples, four home runs and 37 RBIs...also led the team with a .614 slugging percentage and .489 on-base percentage...hit nearly .400 for his high school career and was 11-7 combined with a 2.44 ERA and 145 strikeouts on the hill...recruited by numerous MACJC schools. 

Personal: Son of Andy and Sonia...father played golf at Ole Miss, mother cheered at Itawamba...has two sisters, Lulu (15) and Amy (37)...studying general college...born January 17, 2000.
