2022 [Freshman]: Played in 29 games as a freshman at Niagara University, earning 18 starts...batted .208 with 15 hits, five runs and six RBIs...went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs in an April 22 matchup against Siena...also went 2-for-3 at the plate in a win against Canisius on April 20...off the field, named to MAAC Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Played for coach Chris McMinn at Magnolia Heights...helped the Chiefs to a 34-4 overall record and the MAIS Class AAAA state championship...batted .432 with 27 doubles as a senior...earned numerous accolades throughout his high school career, including first team all-state, MAIS All-Star and Perfect Game First Team All-Southeast Region honors during his senior season...also helped MHS to state titles in 2018-19, earning all-district and all-state honors during his freshman and sophomore seasons...off the field, named class secretary and a member of the student council...earned numerous academic accolades, including Headmaster's List and Presidential Scholar from 2017-22, Eminent Scholar, National Honor Society, Society of Torch and Laurel and National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists...received interest from Niagara University, Charleston Southern, Grambling and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, along with LSU-Eunice and other MACCC programs.

Personal: Son of Teri and Bill Selby...has an older sister, Erica (35)...father, Bill, played baseball at Northwest in 1990 and has served as an assistant baseball coach for the Rangers since 2006...mother, Teri, was a cheerleader at Northwest...enjoys traveling in his free time...studying biology...nickname is “Smash”...born April 8, 2003.
