2016: Second Team All-MACJC...hit a team-high .367 with 12 doubles and two triples...scored 33 runs and drove in 24 more...had a team-best 19 multi-hit games...stole a team-high 23-of-26 bases...had a team-best .466 on-base percentage...plunked a team-high 12 times...had seven sacrifice hits...fielded .911 in 180 chances...on the gridiron in two seasons, tallied 67 tackles, 5.0 TFL, three sacks and two fumble recoveries...has signed to play baseball/football at Delta State. 

High School: Played baseball for head coach Chris McMinn, winning four state championships at Magnolia Heights...named one of The Clarion-Ledger’s Top 40 baseball seniors...also played football for head coach Cliff Young...helped the Chiefs to an 8-3 finish and a playoff appearance last season...also part of two MAIS state champion runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2013...passed for eight touchdowns and rushed for over 2,000 yards and 28 rushing touchdowns as a senior...named first-team all-state and all-district as a senior, while collecting MAIS Offensive MVP and team Offensive MVP awards...played in the 2014 MAIS All-Star Game and was named a Clarion-Ledger Top Performer for three weeks during the season...as a junior, earned first team all-district as a running back/defensive back and was named a second team all-state defensive back.

Personal: Son of Dewayne and Jere Herrington...older brother, Dex, played football and baseball for the Rangers from 2010-12 and later played at DSU...enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time...studying business...born July 5, 1996.
