2015: Started in 23 games behind the plate and fielded .984 in 126 chances...threw out four base runners...hit .284 with five doubles, three home runs and nine RBIs...had three multi-hit games...was a season-high 3-for-5 with a double and the game-winning run to eliminate East Mississippi, 4-3 in 11 innings, in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament...played summer ball for Duke McCrory and the Mississippi Dukes.

High School: Played for head coach Rusty Cagle and was an honors graduate at Lewisburg...2013 4A State Champions, 2012 4A State Runner-up...four-time district champions...named second team all-state and first team all-division twice...team captain...as a senior, hit .329 with three doubles, a triple and 19 RBIs to go along with a .435 on-base percentage...as a junior, hit .296 with 11 doubles (led district), two home runs and 29 RBIs…fielded .989 from behind the plate with 258 putouts and 17 assists and also threw out 13 base runners...also drew college interest from Belhaven, East Central, Delta and EMCC.

Personal: Son of Bobby and Tonya Cooper...has a younger brother, Dalton (15)...nickname is "Coop"...enjoys fishing and hunting in his free time...studying general college...born February 1, 1996.
