2022 [Freshman]: Made two appearances on the mound and six at-bats in six games...pitched two total innings on the season, striking out a batter in the Rangers' February 28 win against Freed-Hardeman...drove in an RBI in one of his two plate appearances against Jackson State (Tenn.) on April 26...off the field, named to the Fall 2021 President's List.

High School: Played for coach John Walker at Lafayette...the Capital Sports Preseason Player to Watch helped the Commodores to a 20-15 record, a Region 1-5A championship and the MHSAA Class 5A semifinals as a senior...hit .321 with 20 RBI and five doubles, while also going 8-2 on the mound during his final season...as a junior, finished 2-1 on the mound with a 2.05 ERA...struck out 11 batters in 13.2 innings pitched...during his sophomore campaign, was part of the LHS squad that went 20-12-1 overall and finished as runner-up in the 2019 Class 5A state championship series...made 10 appearances on the mound, finishing 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA...struck out 18 batters in 28.2 innings pitched...selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 5A All-State first team...named the Region 1-5A Pitcher of the Year...chosen to participate on the Crossroads Diamond Club D. M. Howie 5A-6A All-Star North and the Northeast Mississippi Coaches Association for Better Baseball All-Star squads...participated on the District 2 State Games team and selected to the 2020 Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-Southeast Region honorable mention team prior to his senior season...off the field, named an Honor Roll student at LHS...received recruiting interest from multiple MACCC institutions.

Personal: Son of Michael and Cole Loper...has three siblings, Presleigh (17), Luke (12) and Olivia Catherine (6)...father, Michael, played college baseball...enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time...intends to study engineering...nicknames are “Lopedog” and “Lope Daddy”...born September 30, 2002.
