2024 [Freshman]: Helped Northwest to a 37-17 overall record and the first round of the NJCAA Region 23 playoffs last season...played in 15 games, earning 13 starts...batted .306 with a triple and 10 RBIs...went 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBIs in a March 18 loss to Arkansas State Mid-South...ended the season with a .977 fielding percentage...off the field, a two-time selection to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters...also made the Fall 2023 President’s List.

High School: Played for coach Dee Haynes at Bayou Academy...helped the Colts to an 18-13 record last season, the school's best record in five years...batted .453 as a senior and was named to the MAIS Class 5A All-State Team...also received all-conference honors...off the field, a consistent Honor Roll student...received recruiting interest from several MACCC programs.

Personal: Son of Scottie and Rodney Batts...has a younger brother, Reed (15)...mother, Scottie, played basketball at Delta State (1998-99)...father, Rodney, also played baseball at Delta State (1995-96) and is currently the school's head baseball coach...enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time...area of study is undecided...nickname is "AB"...born February 8, 2005.
