Ranger Baseball Field

Ranger Baseball Field has been home to Northwest baseball since the mid-1970's.

Nestled near the middle of campus, the ballpark offers fans a great view of the action from several different angles and three sets of bleachers. Ranger Field can seat approximately 800 spectators and offers chairback seats that were installed during the 2009 season. A warning track was added in the fall of 2010, spanning around the backstop, to both dugouts and down the first base line. The installation of lights was completed in July of 2011 and a new brick backstop and netting was finished prior to the 2013 season.

The stadium also has a spacious elevated press box as well as restrooms and a concession stand.

During both the spring and the offseason, the Ranger baseball team trains in the indoor practice facility located in the A.P. Fatherree Building. The facility has two full batting cages, two pitching mounds with all Astroturf surfaces and a weight room. Members of the Ranger baseball team can enjoy relaxing in the newly-renovated dressing room, which contains a television, showers and other amenities.
