Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 26th Round of the 2013 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

2013 [FRESHMAN]:
Appeared in 14 games on the year, earning the start in eight...went 4-4 with a 4.11 ERA, two complete games and two saves...logged 47.2 innings, striking out 42 against 20 walks...struck out a career-high nine (twice) against Arkansas Baptist and Holmes...opened the year as a starter and closed the year out of the bullpen in late relief...opponents hit .249 against him...the 13th Ranger in school history to be selected in the MLB Draft. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for head coach David Williams at Southaven...as a senior, posted a 1.73 ERA on the mound and hit .284 as an outfielder for the Chargers.

PERSONAL:
Son of Sabra and Phillip Cable...has an older brother, Dillon (24) and a younger sister, Kennedi (12)...majoring in general college...born October 8, 1993.
