High School: Played for head coach Michael Fair at Lafayette...helped the Commodores to a 7-5 record and the first round of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs last season...as a senior, caught 11 passes for 124 yards...also rushed six times for 21 yards and a touchdown...had two catches for 41 yards in a September 9 loss to Southaven...scored his lone touchdown in a 55-22 win against Greenville on October 28...chosen for first team all-state honors...as a junior, helped LHS to a 10-3 overall record and the second round of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs...rushed 45 times for 219 yards and a touchdown during his junior season, tallying 74 yards on 12 carries in a win against Southaven on Sept. 10, 2021...scored his lone touchdown in a 38-7 victory against Horn Lake on Sept. 3, 2021...also caught three passes for 19 yards, including a touchdown in a win against Greenville on October 29, 2021...as a sophomore, helped the Commodores to a 7-4 overall record and the first round of the Class 5A playoffs...caught six passes for 39 yards and a touchdown, which came in a 35-14 win against Grenada on October 2, 2020...also completed five of eight pass attempts, including a touchdown pass in a 57-20 victory against New Hope on October 23, 2020...received recruiting interest from multiple MACCC programs.

Personal: Son of Monica and Bill Dabney...older brother, Drew (22), played tight end and punter for Northwest from 2019-21, helping the Rangers to back-to-back MACCC titles and the 2020 National Community College Football Championship...enjoys fishing and hunting in his spare time...studying commercial aviation...nickname is "Dab"...born January 22, 2004.
