2022 [Freshman]: Spent his freshman season at Arkansas State...had one tackle in a September 24 contest at Old Dominion...redshirted the remainder of his season.
 
High School: Played for head coach Chris Cutcliffe at Oxford...helped the Chargers to a 12-1 overall record and the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs in 2021...collected nine interceptions, returning five of them for touchdowns...earned several accolades, including all-state, Region 1-6A MVP and a nod to the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game...was part of the Oxford’s state championship team as a junior...received recruiting interest from Air Force, Army, South Alabama, Southern Miss and UAB.

Personal: Son of Jessica and Ricky Shorter...has three siblings, Ashten (18), Addyson (16) and Navy (2)...relative, Armintie Herrington, played college basketball at Ole Miss (2003-07) and spent nine seasons in the WNBA...enjoys fishing and bowling in his spare time...studying nursing...nickname is "Tido"...born October 30, 2002.
