2013: Injured in the second game of the season vs Co-Lin and received a medical redshirt...received interest from Auburn, Texas A&M, Troy, UL-Lafayette, USM, MTSU and Memphis.  

2012: Played in all 10 games on the season...recorded 15 tackles (seven solo), two tackles-for-loss and a sack...had a career-high four tackles vs. #7 Gulf Coast in the state playoffs and his first career sack vs. #11 Kilgore in the Brazos Valley Bowl.

High School: Played defensive tackle for head coach Lance Pogue at South Panola...selected to play in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game...as a senior, helped the Tigers to a 9-4 mark and posted 46 tackles, five sacks and a fumble recovery...as a junior, his team went a perfect 15-0 and claimed the Mississippi 6A State Championship while being declared national champions by Rivals.com, MaxPreps.com and USA Today...received college interest from East Mississippi CC, Northeast CC and Jackson State among others.

Personal: Son of Nancy Carr and Rickey Nelson...has four siblings, Ricky Nelson, Jr. (26), Paris Flowers (21), Sandria Benson (20) and Darius Fondren (20)...majoring in general college...born June 20, 1993.
