High School: Played for head coach Nikki Beal at Lake Cormorant...four-time district champions...2011 State Runners-Up, four-time district champions and two-time conference champs...a 2012 all-conference selection...hit .290 for her career with 22 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 43 RBIs and 70 runs scored...member of the National Honor Society...former teammates with current Rangers Alex and Andi Barrett, Jessica Holliday, Allison Helton and Alyssa Dean.

Personal: Daughter of Robin and Todd Newcom...has an older sister, Emily (24) and younger brother, Hunter (16)...majoring in nursing...born September 12, 1994.
