2022 [Freshman]: Played in four games for Northwest, helping the Rangers to the NJCAA Division I Football Playoffs.

High School: Played for coach Michael Fair at Lafayette...helped the Commodores to a 10-3 record and the second round of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs as a senior...helped pave the way for a ground attack that gained 3,072 yards and 34 rushing touchdowns during his final campaign...garnered first team All-Region 1-5A...chosen to participate in the Magnolia State All-Star game...received recruiting interest from multiple MACCC schools.

Personal: Son of Leslie Kendrick and John Dukes...has one brother, Jadarius...father, John, played football for Northwest from 1999-2000 and Mars Hill College from 2001-02...uncle, Jeffery, played at Northwest before continuing his career at Alabama and the NFL’s St. Louis Rams...enjoys playing video games in his free time...studying physical therapy...nicknames are “J.J.” and “Big Duke”...born February 4, 2004.
