2022 [Redshirt Freshman]: Played in all 12 games last season, helping Northwest to the NJCAA Division I Football Playoffs...totaled 35 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions and two quarterback hurries...posted a season-high eight tackles in the Rangers' NJCAA playoff matchup against Iowa Western on December 4...returned one of his two interceptions for a 32-yard touchdown in an October 27 road win at Northeast...off the field, named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Fall 2022 semester.

2021 [Jackson State]: Played in one game for Jackson State before redshirting the remainder of his freshman season...had one tackle in the Tigers' season-opener against Florida A&M.

2020 [Jackson State]: Played in six games for Jackson State University in abbreviated COVID-19 schedule...tallied 24 total tackles, including 16 solo.

High School: Played for coach Tyler Turner at Olive Branch...helped the Conquistadors to a 9-4 record and the second round of the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs as a senior...tallied 80 tackles (28 solo) to go along with four interceptions, three passes defended, two fumble recoveries, a blocked field goal and two defensive touchdowns during his final campaign...totaled 103 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, an interception, four passes defended, two blocked field goals and a kickoff return touchdown as a junior...selected second team Region 1-6A...named a Top Performer by the Commerical Appeal multiple times during his senior season...off the field, a consistent Honor Roll student at OBHS.

Personal: Son of Chaka and Terrell Adams...has two siblings, Jakyla and Tommy...enjoys playing video games and spending time in nature in his free time...studying biology...nickname is “Yak”...born August 21, 2002.
