High School: Played for head coach Dan Ifft at Dover High (Ohio)...helped the Tornadoes to a 13-3 overall record and to the OHSAA State Semifinals...finished his senior season with 130 tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks...also had 45 carries for 146 yards and 10 TDs in short-yardage situations...First Team All Ohio and First Team All-Region 11...Eastern District, East Central Ohio League and WTOV-9 Defensive Player of the Year selection...received college interest from Bowling Green, Akron, Toledo and Kent State among others.
