High School: Played for head coaches Anthony Hart and Eric Robertson at Lafayette...helped the Commodores to a 10-3 record and playoff berth in his senior season…finished his senior year with 54 tackles, six sacks and one safety, scored against Tupelo in their 2012 season-opener...as a junior, had 68 tackles and 13 sacks...won two football state championships in 2010 and 2011...teammates with current Rangers Joshua Barry, Alec Michael and Colby Terrell...received college interest from Mississippi State and UL-Lafayette among others.
