High School: Played for coach Nick Nester at Lake Cormorant...helped the Gators to an 8-5 record and the second round of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs as a senior...recorded 66 tackles (31 solo), eight PBUs, four TFLs and three interceptions during his senior season...also scored three touchdowns off an interception, fumble recovery and kickoff return...concluded his varsity career with 134 total tackles and six interceptions...chosen to the Mississippi Gridiron preseason All-Gridiron third team prior to his final varsity season...selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 5A All-State first team following both his junior and senior seasons...selected as a member of the North squad for the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic following his senior season…received recruiting interest from Oregon, Ole Miss, UAB, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State, Tulane, MTSU and ULM.
