High School: Played for coach Nick Nester at Lake Cormorant...helped the Gators to an 8-5 record and the second round of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs as a senior...accounted for 81 total tackles (36 solo) and an interception returned for a touchdown during his senior campaign...finished his varsity career with 66 career solo tackles and 145 career total tackles for the Gators...accounted for over 10 single-game tackles four times over his final two seasons...selected Mississippi Association of Coaches 5A All-State honorable mention and All-Region 1-5A following his senior season...received recruiting interest from ULM, Jackson State, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech and several MACCC programs.
