2021 [Freshman***]: Helped Northwest to a 9-3 overall record, the MACCC Championship and an appearance in the inaugural NJCAA Division I Football Championship...recorded a team-high 93 total tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss, seven quarterback hurries, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery...logged four games with 10 or more tackles, including a 15-tackle effort in a Week 2 loss at Jones College...notched two sacks apiece in wins against Northeast (September 23) and Hinds (November 13)...posted two hurries in wins against Itawamba and Hinds...forced and recovered a fumble in the Rangers' victory against Northeast...off the field, a receipient of several academic honors, including President's List, CoSIDA Academic All-American and First Team NJCAA All-Academic nods.

2020 [Freshman]: Played in all six games for the Rangers, helping Northwest to the National Community College Football Championship...finished the season with 10 total tackles...logged a season-best three tackles in two games against Itawamba (October 15) and Mississippi Gulf Coast (December 5)...also earned a pass breakup in the Rangers' regular season finale against Mississippi Delta...off the field, named to Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 President's Lists...also recognized as a Distinguished Academic All-MACCC and NJCAA All-Academic first team selection.

High School: Played for coach John Perry at Pearl...had 123 total tackles, 93 solo, one sack, one interception and a blocked punt during his senior campaign...the defensive stalwart totaled 345 tackles, 17 for loss and eight forced fumbles over three years for the Pirates...led the team in tackles in both his junior and senior seasons...selected to the 2019 Mississippi Gridiron preseason second team and the inaugural Priority One Bank/Mississippi Scoreboard All-Metro second team as a linebacker...also selected to the 2018 Mississippi Association of Coaches 6A All-State second team...a member of Pearl’s 2017 6A state championship squad where he led the team in tackles as a sophomore with 13 in the championship game...also competed in track and powerlifting for the Pirates...off the field, was a consistent Honor Roll student at PHS...received numerous interest and offers, including several Mississippi JUCOs.

Personal: Son of Bernadette and Samuel Brumfield…has two siblings, SamBreanna (24) and Sa’mya (20)...enjoys working out and spending time with his family...studying pre-physical therapy...born December 12, 2001.
