NJCAA Third Team All-American, First Team All-MACJC and NJCAA All-Region 23...a three-time MACJC Pitcher of the Week selection and named the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week on March 6...started in 12 games on the year...went 8-3 with a 2.39 ERA, five complete games, two shutouts and two combined shutouts...logged eight quality starts...set a single-season school record with 96 strikeouts...struck out a career-high 15 against Coahoma on April 6 in a one-hit shutout...had a stretch of five games during the year where he struck out 57 batters...opponents hit just .201 against him and he allowed only 13 extra-base hits in a team-best 73.1 innings of work...Reed ends his Northwest baseball career as the school's all-time leader in strikeouts (161), wins (16), innings pitched (137.2), batters faced (601), starts (23) and shutouts (five)...he's second in career complete games (10) and third in opponent batting average (.219) and strikeouts/7 inning game (8.19).  Â

Played for head coach Brad Meadows at Horn Lake...a two-time all-conference nod and three-time selection as the team’s Best Pitcher...selected to play in the 2011 Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star baseball game...won district during his career...as a senior, went 5-3 with a save and 2.72 ERA in 10 appearances (nine starts)...struck out 55 batters against 21 walks...also hit .235 from the plate with a triple and three RBIs.
