High School: Played for coach Tyrone Shorter at Noxubee County...led the Tigers to an 11-4 overall record and the Class 4A state championship last year...was part of three state champion teams at Noxubee...three-time Offensive Player of the Week for performances against Corinth, West Monroe and Louisville...all-state selection...graded out at over 90% for his career...also participated in track, placing fourth and second in discus as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Bonola Morant...has one brother, the late Ervin Gray...enjoys listening to music in his spare time...nickname is “Angry Bird”...studying counseling...born July 5, 2000.
