Biography

SUMMER 2012:
Played and started in 14 games for the Tennessee-Tom Thunder of the Cotton States League...hit .167 from the plate with a double, triple and four RBIs...second on the team in runs scored (8) and stolen bases (5-of-6)...fielded .933 in 30 chances. 

2012:
Missed the entire season due to an ankle injury.

2011 [FRESHMAN]:
Played in 39 games on the year, earning 28 starts in the outfield...hit .326 with four doubles, a triple and 13 RBIs...scored 18 runs and also had two sacrifice hits...stole 4-of-8 bases...perfect in the field in 29 chances...had a .356 on-base percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL:
A three-sport athlete at Lewisburg...played baseball for head coach Rusty Cagle, winning three consecutive district championships and finishing as the north half runners-up...an all-district and all-Chickasaw selection in both soccer and baseball...had 17 doubles his senior year on the diamond and also scored 23 goals on the pitch.

PERSONAL:
Son of Louis and Maureen Castoria...has a younger sister, Emily (18), who plays soccer for the Lady Rangers and twin sisters Mary Grace (12) and Sarah (12)...majoring in criminal justice...born August 27, 1992.
