2018: Played in nine games, starting in seven...totaled 19 tackles with three tackles-for-loss and three sacks...picked up a career-best seven tackles in the regular season finale at Itawamba...received several FBS Division I offers over the offseason. 

High School: Played for coach Alan Peacock at Center Hill...finished with 39 tackles, 20 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks and two fumble recoveries during his junior season...participated in the 2017 Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic, where he was named North Defensive MVP...received interest from Mississippi State, Memphis and Texas-San Antonio.

Personal: Son of Donna Polk and Henry Jackson...has four siblings, Ashley Polk (31), Brandon Jackson (26), Jeremiah Jackson (17) and Jaylen Jackson (14)...nickname is “JJ”...enjoys playing basketball in his spare time...studying dental hygiene...born December 15, 1998.
