Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 15th Round of the 2013 MLB First-Year Player Draft. 

2013 [FRESHMAN]:
First Team All-MACJC...played in 48 games on the year in centerfield, starting in 47...hit .324 with 10 doubles, three triples, a home run, 31 runs scored and 24 RBIs...led the team in walks (29), stolen bases (22-for-22) and on-base percentage (.475)...fielded .970 in 100 total chances...had 10 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games with a team-long 18-game reached base streak during the year.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Chris Ring at Arlington...helped the Tigers to a 33-11 overall record and 2012 TSSAA 3A State Championship...ranked 36th in the final Baseball Coaches of America poll...hit .414 as a senior with four home runs and .439 as a junior with three home runs...also played football for head coach Chris Wiley...an all-region, all-district and Best of the Preps selection...selected to play in the Liberty Bowl All-Star game...gained college interest from Arkansas, Austin Peay and Arkansas State among others...teammates with current Rangers Matt Ferguson and Kramer Hollenbach.
