SUMMER 2012:
Played and started in 16 games for the North Delta Dealers who finished the summer 15-3-1 overall...hit .186 from the plate with a double and four RBIs...carried a .981 fielding percentage in 105 chances behind the plate.

2012 [FRESHMAN]:
Played in 16 games on the year, earning the start in seven...hit an even .200 from the plate with a double and a pair of RBIs...drew three walks and was beaned twice...carried a .346 on-base percentage...fielded .979 in 48 chances...threw out one runner in 11 stolen base attempts.

SUMMER 2011:
Played in 17 games for the league champion North Delta Dealers of the Cotton States League...hit .171 from the plate with three RBIs and four runs scored...carried a .980 fielding percentage behind the plate...threw out nine of 25 baserunners. 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played his final two seasons for head coach Steve Chambliss at Independence...helped the Wildcats to a pair of playoff appearances...tabbed the District II-3A Player of the Year...a two-time first team all-district catcher...2011 MVP...an All-Tate County selection and team captain...off the field, received Special Academic Honors and was involved with the Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta...teammates with current Ranger Kyle Blount.

Son of Michael and Annette Carson...father played baseball at Northwest in 1986-87...nephew of current head coach Mark Carson...has a younger sister, Lauren (18), who is a cheerleader at Northwest...majoring in liberal arts...born August 10, 1992.
