Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2016-17: Played in all 21 games as a freshman, earning the start in 14 of those...averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.9 minutes per game...team's third-leading scorer...shot 38 percent from the floor...added 41 assists and 20 steals...scored in double figures nine times, including a season-high 22 points vs East Mississippi...off the court, a 2016-17 MACJC All-Academic and NJCAA All-Academic Third Team selection...two-time honoree on Northwest's Dean's List. 

High School: Played for head coach Janna Thompson at Horn Lake…helped the Lady Eagles to a 23-7 record, Region 1-6A title and second round of the Class 6A state playoffs her senior season…also helped Horn Lake to back-to-back Class 6A state championships in 2014-15…led the team in scoring as a senior, averaging 15 points and four rebounds per game…graduated 34th in her senior class and was recognized as a “Graduate of Distinction”…also received interest from East Mississippi and Meridian…teammates with current Lady Ranger Shernique Adams.
 
Personal: Daughter of Yolanda Turner-Ector and Christopher Shaw…has one sister, Makyra, and four brothers, Justin, Jeremiah, Jahmian and Jamien…enjoys singing in her spare time…studying pre-occupational therapy…nickname is “Shaw”…born November 8, 1997.
