High School: Played for head coach Brandon Eller at Nettleton (Ark.)...hit .313 his senior year with six doubles, four home runs and 18 RBIs...boasted a .468 on-base percentage...hit nine homers in his high school career, 17 combined in high school-summer ball...a three-time all-conference selection and three-time Jonesboro Best Under the Sun nod...an all-star selection...played summer ball for Dulins Dodgers...also recruited by Arkansas State, Missouri State, Mercer and UALR...off the field, a member of the Beta Club, FBLA and National Honor Society.
