High School: Played for head coach Ron Wilson and was an honor roll student at DeSoto Central…helped the Jaguars to a 19-13 record and the second round of the MHSAA 6A state playoffs…led the team in scoring, rebounds and blocks…averaged 15.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game…finished his senior season with 12 double-doubles and a career-high 32-point game against Southaven…named First Team Region 1-6A, team MVP and was selected to the Commercial Appeal’s Best of Preps...received interest from Mississippi Valley State, Rust College, Southwest Tennessee and East Mississippi…teammates with current Ranger Justin Flakes.
