2016: First Team All-MACJC punter and second team all-conference kicker...Fred Mitchell Award nominee...started in all 12 games as a freshman, handling all kicking duties...booted 61 punts for 2,349 yards, good for third most punting yards in a single-season...drilled a season-long 60-yard punt at East Mississippi in the MACJC Championship...his 16 made field goals was second in a single-season and fourth all-time...nailed a career-long 47-yard field goal against Holmes...hit 40 extra-point attempts, good for ninth in a single-season...four-time MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week selection...off the field, named to the spring 2017 Dean’s List.

High School: Played for head coach Pat Byrd at Saltillo...went 15-for-17 in extra point attempts and 4-for-4 in field goal attempts as a senior...three-time First Team All-Region 1-5A selection...also played soccer and baseball at SHS...recruited by Nicholls State, South Alabama, Minnesota State and several Mississippi JUCOs.

Personal: Son of Matt McCarter...has two siblings, Mattison (18) and Hunter (15)...enjoys being outdoors in his free time...studying biology...born September 3, 1997.
