2014-15: Played in 22 career games on the gridiron for the Rangers at linebacker...totaled 22 tackles and a blocked kick...part of an MACJC and NJCAA National Championship as a sophomore...a two-year member of the President’s List and also a member of the fall 2015 Dean's List...Capital One Academic All-District selection.

High School: Played baseball for head coach Joel Gafford...hit .391 with eight doubles, a triple, home run and 19 RBIs his senior year...an all-county and all-division 2-4A selection...selected to the Class 4A-6A NEMCABB All-Star Game and was named offensive MVP for the West...also played football for head coach Chad Cook...helped the Tigers to an 11-2 mark and second round playoff appearance as a senior...an all-division, all-state and all-academic selection during his career...also division MVP, Super 22 and selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game...Ripley’s all-time leading tackler...had a career game vs Belmont with 18 tackles...a star student off the field...also received college interest from Itawamba, Northeast and East Central.

Personal: Son of Chris and Mimi Hobson...has two younger siblings, Luke (16) and Hallie (15)...his grandfather, Barry Hobson, played baseball and basketball at Northwest...studying general college...born October 2, 1995.
