2014: A Second Team All-MACJC punter...played in all 10 games, handling all special teams duties...made 5-of-10 attempted field goals, with a career-long 34-yard field goal coming in the playoffs at Copiah-Lincoln...hit 24-of-27 extra point attempts...tallied 2,160 punt yards, averaging 38.6 yards per punt...booted a career-long 62-yard punt at Holmes...named the MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week after Northwest’s 28-14 road win against Holmes...was named to the President’s List both terms.

High School: Played for head coach Brad Peterson at Brandon...helped the Bulldogs to an 11-2 record and a berth into the Class 6A state playoffs in his senior season...ranked No. 3 in the Class of 2014 in punting by Ray Guy’s Kicking Academy...named Second Team All-State and All-Metro...averaged 43.7 yards per punt with 15 inside the 20 and a long of 62...hit 58 of 60 PATs and 2 of 4 field goals...as a junior, made 7 of 11 field goals and went 3-for-3 in the 2012 Class 6A State Championship game against South Panola...was also named to the Class 6A All-Region 3 Team as a junior...also recruited by Hinds, Copiah-Lincoln and Southwest.

Personal: Son of Randy and Arlene Speights...has two older siblings, Stephen (27) and Mollie (22)...cousin, David Mahaffey, plays football for Louisiana Tech...studying general college...born August 6, 1996.
