2015: Second Team All-MACJC...three-time MACJC Pitcher of the Week selection...appeared in 14 games on the mound, 12 starts, posting a 6-2 record with a 2.88 ERA...had a pair of complete games and two combined shutouts...scattered 49 strikeouts against 26 walks in a team-high 65.2 innings of work...had a season-high nine strikeouts vs. East Central on March 7...started the season 6-0 with a 0.54 ERA through his first 52 innings...opponents hit .276 against him...signed with USM on Nov. 11, 2015.

High School: Played at New Albany, Lewisburg and Myrtle High for John Walker, Rusty Cagle and Robert Gordon…at New Albany (9-10th), was a Super 20 First Team All-Division selection...at Lewisburg (11th), a first team all-division and second team All-DeSoto County selection...2013 4A State and Division Champions...4A Pitcher of the Year...went 4-3 with a 2.32 ERA in 48.1 innings pitched, striking out 36 and allowing just three extra-base hits…hit .264 with eight doubles, a home run and 19 RBIs...at Myrtle (12th), named 1A-2A Co-Player of the Year, first team all-division, first team all-state and all-area…Perfect Game 2014 Southeast Region Honorable Mention...hit .476 with 10 doubles, a triple and two home runs...posted a 7-3 record on the mound with a 1.32 ERA and 85 strikeouts...recruited by numerous other MACJC schools.

Personal: Son of David and Teresa Smith…has two siblings Corey (23), who was a two-time all-state selection in baseball at Northeast, and Christopher (21)…studying general college…born October 23, 1995.
