High School: Played for head coach David Lara at Hernando…district and state runners-up during his career...Tigers finished 17-15 his senior season as he went 4-0 with a 0.70 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 30 innings of work…hit .289 from the plate with four doubles, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored...as a junior, went 1-1 with a 1.62 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 13 innings pitched...recruited by numerous other MACJC schools.

Personal: Son of Carl and Melanie Painter…his father was an All-Chickasaw conference selection in football at Southaven…enjoys fishing and hunting in his free time…studying general college…born April 23, 1996.
