SENATOBIA - The two-time defending national champion Northwest Mississippi Community College women's soccer team is back in a familiar spot in the 2026 NJCAA Division II Pre-Season Poll, claiming the top spot and receiving all eight first-place votes available.
The Rangers were one of five teams from the MACCC that found a spot in the top 25, joined by Jones College (3), Holmes Community College (5), Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (6), Pearl River Community College (9), and Hinds Community College (20) in what was the most concentrated set of teams from any conference or region in the top 20.
The rest of the top five was filled out with the defending national runner-up Heartland Community College in the second position and Johnson County Community College in the fourth spot.
