SENATOBIA - A string of strong showers halted pregame warmups ahead of Wednesday's MACCC baseball doubleheader between Northwest and Itawamba, eventually forcing the games to be postponed.

Late Wednesday evening, Northwest announced the games have been rescheduled to Thursday, April 24 at 12:30 P.M. The second game is tentatively scheduled to begin around 3:30 P.M.

Both teams are not only chasing potential postseason seeding, but also aiming to capture playoff berths. The Rangers were ninth in the MACCC standings entering the day on Wednesday, with the Indians tied for 10th.

Both games will be carried on Ranger TV.
