Senatobia To Saturdays: Week 11 Schedule and Where to Watch

SENATOBIA – There is at least one more weekend of Northwest Mississippi Community College football on the gridiron with the MACCC and Region 23 Championship game on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm, but the season is really heating up at the FCS and FBS levels where plenty of former Rangers are hoping to keep their hopes of playing in the postseason, and for some, in national tournament football, alive.

Sixth ranked Ole Miss and former Rangers Tavion Prather (DL) and Macaleb Taylor (RB) have a critical home game at The Grove this weekend when they host the upset minded Florida Gators in a 6:00 pm kickoff on ESPN, and joining them in top ten faceoffs are the eighth ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders and offensive lineman Davion Carter as they host UCF in an afternoon contest in Lubbock on FOX at 2:30 PM.

Still on the bubble and looking to win out, #22 Missouri will go into action with Stephen Hall (DB) against Jakheem Shumpert-Perkins (OL) and Jykeveous "Red" Hibbler (DL) as Mississippi State looks to pull off the upset at 6:45 on the SEC Network.

At the FCS level, a battle between #16 Jackson State and Bethune-Cookman will pit the duo Dimonyai Lacey (DL) and B.J. Washington (DB) against Jordan Johnson (DB) at 12:00 PM. In another ranked game at the FCS level, #21 Southeast Louisiana and Khamron Ford (DB) will be traveling to Incarnate Word looking to keep their hopes of an appearance in the postseason alive.

Three other games at the FCS level will see former Rangers going head to head, including Samford traveling to Austin Peay at 1:00 pm, Arkansas Pine Bluff heading to Prairie View A&M at 2:00 PM, Nicholls at Northwestern State at 3:00 PM and a late night battle between Central Arkansas and Southern Utah to close out the night at 7:30 PM.

In all, a total of 44 former Northwest football student-athletes will suit up for FBS and FCS programs this weekend.
