Box Score ULIN, ILL. - Picking up their fourth straight sweep, the Northwest Mississippi Community College volleyball team (7-2) handily beat St. Louis Community College (1-4).
The Rangers completely dominated the first two sets, winning the first set 25-13 and the second set 25-12. Although the third set was closer, NWCC were able to clinch the victory with a 25-20 set three win.
For the second straight match, Adalyn Callahan garnered a team-leading double-digit kills with 10. Chloe Fesperman added an additional seven, while Aven Mathis added four.
In an overall clean game for Northwest, the Rangers hit at least a .250 hitting percentage in all three sets, averaging .310 over the entire match.
The dynamic duo of setters Dallas White and Chloe Rodriquez accumulated 13 and 11 assists respectively.
Three Rangers showed that fans can count on their defense. Callahan and Jania Rose had eight digs while Fesperman had seven.
The team will be back in action on the road in Ulin, Illinois, on Saturday, August 30 at 12 p.m. when they take on the Shawnee Community College Saints (0-3) to close out a three day tournament.
