SENATOBIA - Mother Nature has played a hand in the last regular season home doubleheader for Northwest baseball.

With inclement weather in the forecast for this weekend, Northwest has announced that its Sophomore Day twinbill against Mississippi Gulf Coast has been moved up from Saturday to Friday, April 19 at 2/5 P.M.

Sophomore Day ceremonies are scheduled to take place in between Game 1 and Game 2 of the doubleheader, with both games scheduled to be carried on Ranger TV.

Following Friday's doubleheader, Northwest will conclude the regular season on the road at Itawamba on Wednesday, April 24 and No. 2 Pearl River on Saturday, April 27.
