SENATOBIA - A series of schedule adjustments is on the horizon for Northwest baseball this week.
Northwest will now host Freed-Hardeman JV on Monday, February 26 at 4 P.M. The Rangers will play the Lions in a single nine-inning contest at Jim Miles Field, but were originally scheduled to travel to Freed-Hardeman for a doubleheader.
Due to weather concerns, Wednesday's tripleheader with Northeast and Itawamba has now been moved to Tuesday, Feb. 27. The Rangers will still play Northeast at 11 A.M. and Itawamba at 5 P.M., while the Tigers and Indians will play each other at 2 P.M.
Both home dates will include live broadcasts on Ranger TV, as well as the aforementioned game between Northeast and ICC.
Friday's game with Freed-Hardeman JV has also been canceled, with the Rangers now heading to USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn. Northwest will play a pair of games on that day, facing Kansas City (Kan.) at 2 P.M. and top-ranked Heartland at 5 P.M.
